As an EdTech music researcher, Christie has a unique set of skills that can benefit students and teachers alike. Her knowledge of technology can help bridge the gap between traditional teaching methods and modern learning techniques. Her research interests encompass EdTech, teacher training, music education, early childhood education, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
Christie aims to equip educators with the necessary tools and resources for success. This may involve introducing technologies into the EYFS/Primary classroom, leading workshops, and offering valuable guidance and support.
She has delivered lectures and currently conducts seminars at King's College London and University College London. She has taught a range of subjects, including sociology, philosophical perspectives of childhood and youth, media, culture, and society, as well as the interactions of music and science, and sociology of music education.
Her approach is notably multidisciplinary, reflecting a comprehensive perspective that spans various fields of study.
